Nixon Gear Receives UTC “Supplier Gold Award”

Nixon Gear, a division of Gear Motions Inc., received the prestigious United Technologies Supplier Gold Award. This award recognizes suppliers who exhibit world-class performance in the areas of Quality, Delivery, Lean, and Customer Satisfaction. 

Gear Motions President, Sam Haines was on hand at the award ceremony, and remarked that “as a custom gear manufacturer supplying  precision ground gears around the world, it is a great honor for our little company to be recognized by one of the Industry’s most comprehensive and demanding supplier awards, for our employees many years of continuous improvement efforts.”

Nixon Gear has been supplying United Technologies with precision ground gears for over 30 years and, today, is the only gear manufacturer to United Technologies to have received this award. 

As a Global Company, UTC designed this Award, as a truly international standard for recognizing supplier contributions to the overall success of United Technologies and its divisions to supply quality products to it’s  global market.
